Best Instagram Spots in Amsterdam: 11 Locations You Can’t Miss

Amsterdam is iconic for a reason, and you will find yourself filling up your camera roll before the day is even over! I have put together a guide that is going to help you find the BEST Instagram spots in Amsterdam.

Check out my latest Instagram posts here.

Make sure to stay until the end, because I have included a free downloadable itinerary to Amsterdam that includes even more amazing instagram spots to visit while here!

Anyways, I guess what I am saying is are you ready for some sneak peeks???

MaMa Kelly

The moment you’ve been waiting for… a PINK PARADISE!!! Every inch of this place is filled with some of the best instagram spots in Amsterdam.

The best photo spots can be found inside towards the entrance just to the left of the bar or downstairs to the left of the stairs.

MaMa Kelly is a restaurant located less than a 10 minute drive from Amsterdam’s city center. If you want to avoid crowds in your photos I would book a reservation for the first time slot when it opens.

To book a reservation and check opening days and times go here

Prinsengracht & Egelantiersgracht Canal Bridge

I am just over here trying to make your Instagram dreams come true, and this is definitely the most photogenic place in Amsterdam!

We scheduled a photoshoot with an AMAZING photographer! To book her go here

Apart from capturing photos along these iconic canals, you will also find charming shops, restaurants and the Anne Frank House nearby.

Polarberry

This adorable little chocolate shop is best known for it’s instagrammable chocolate covered strawberries and cake pops.

Easily one of the best instagram spots in Amsterdam and one you don’t want to miss!

We got some cake pops, but I wish we would have ordered some chocolate covered strawberries too. Don’t repeat my mistake and order BOTH!

Polarberry is located on Prinsengracht directly in front of Ree Bridge and Reestraat. And here is a tip! Pick up some goodies and snap some photos outside the store over the canal.

Zevenlandenhuizen

Hands down, the most Underrated Tourist Spot in Amsterdam!

What makes this place so unique? You will find a set of 7 houses here, and the architecture of each house was built to represent a European country.

The 7 countries represented:

No. 20- Germany 🇩🇪
No. 22- France 🇫🇷
No. 24- Spain 🇪🇸
No. 26- Italy 🇮🇹

No. 28- Russia 🇷🇺
No. 30- Netherlands 🇳🇱
No. 32- England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

This is a residential area located near Vondelpark, so you can’t go inside and you will want to make sure to be respectful of the residents found here.

If you would like to learn more about the fascinating history go here

Le Petit Deli

A romantic little Parisian cafe filled with the most DELICIOUS baked goods and food made fresh every single day!!!

There is no shortage of great photo spots here, but I would recommend snapping photos outside as the inside can be quite packed with customers.

The owner and staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Don’t forget to check out there beautiful Instagram page for some inspiration here

Leliesluis

A bridge that can be found in the center of Amsterdam. From this bridge you have a good view of the three popular places in Amsterdam: the Anne Frank House, the Westerkerk and Gunters & Meusers building.

This part of Amsterdam is filled with pretty heavy foot traffic and cyclists, so if you want to avoid crowds get here earlier in the day!

Cafe Hoppe

We stumbled across this cafe on our way to the Bloemenmarkt, and instantly fell in love with the aesthetics of the cafe!

Best photo spot? The location of this cafe and its surroundings are VERY photogenic! Make sure to pop in for a drink and a snack.

Bloemenmarkt

Known as the world’s only floating flower market, you just have to add this to your itinerary! Not only is it an Amsterdam staple, but it’s filled with the best instagram spots in Amsterdam.

Best photo spots? There are 15 stalls that are filled with greenery all year round, even outside of tulip season! During our visit in November we saw a sea of Christmas trees and garland.

Ree 7

A very cute cafe that has become popular for its delicious and photogenic milkshakes

If you’re looking for some really cute food shots, Ree 7 is definitely the place to go! And the food alone makes this place worth a visit.

The Begijnhof

A secret courtyard tucked away from the crowds that makes you feel like you’re outside the city. The oldest house in Amsterdam can be found here and dates back to the 1400s!!!

Please be aware this is meant to be an oasis of tranquility, so be mindful as you visit. It is free and is open from 9 am to 5pm.

Herenstraat & Prinsenstraat Canal Bridge

Looking to get a perfect canal shot? Make your way to this bridge to capture some photos.

Some beautiful canal boats can be found here just below the bridge. You will find the occasional delivery truck parked here, as the bridge see’s a fair amount of traffic by vehicles so be patient and you’ll get your shot.

The possibilities of capturing that perfect Instagram shot are endless, but I hope this guide helps you find some of the best instagram spots in Amsterdam!
