Over the years, we’ve discovered a few unforgettable places that not only welcome dogs but make them feel right at home. Here are two of our absolute favorite dog friendly hotels near Jackson Hole.
I have an unhealthy obsession with glamping. It gives you that close-to-nature feel while still enjoying hotel-level comfort. So when I heard about Tammah, a luxury glamping retreat just outside Grand Teton National Park, I knew we had to check it out.
Our stay at Tammah Jackson Hole was pure magic. Think plush beds, en suite bathrooms, a sauna, and a cold plunge with Teton views (yes, I finally tried the cold plunge trend!).
Evenings ended with cozy campfires and complimentary s’mores under the stars—dogs happily snoozing by our side.
Best of all, Tammah is dog friendly! They welcome well-behaved pups for a $50/night fee, and while dogs must be leashed on the property, they’ll love roaming the fresh mountain air just as much as you do. Check out all the extra amenities they offer here!
Just over the pass from Jackson in the charming town of Victor, Moose Creek Ranch is another hidden gem we adore. It’s rustic, scenic, and incredibly dog friendly—ideal for those looking to be close to both Jackson and Teton Valley adventures.
We loved the peaceful setting, cozy cabins, and easy access to hiking trails perfect for early morning dog walks. Plus, they offer pet-friendly cabins making it a flexible and relaxed stay.
We love traveling with our dog, so I always appreciate when places like Moose Creek Ranch welcome pups. Dogs are allowed in a few select cabins—specifically the Twin Cabin Queen—with a pet fee of $50 per dog, per night (max of two). Just be sure to keep them leashed and clean up after them!

If you ask us, hiking is one of the best dog friendly things to do in Jackson Hole. There’s nothing like getting out into the fresh mountain air with your pup by your side and the Tetons towering in the distance.
Over the years, we’ve explored several local trails with our dog, and Cache Creek has become a favorite.
Located just minutes from downtown Jackson, Cache Creek Trail offers wide paths, scenic views, and plenty of space for dogs to stretch their legs. It’s a popular spot, and while dogs must be leashed, there’s still tons of room for them to roam and sniff.
Here are a few more dog friendly hikes in Jackson Hole worth exploring:
Snow King Trail – A steeper climb with great views from the top (dogs welcome on leash).
Putt-Putt Trail – A mellow, winding trail that connects to Cache Creek—perfect for casual walks.
Game Creek Trail – A lesser-known option with fewer crowds and plenty of shade.
Old Pass Road to Teton Pass – A scenic alpine option with sweeping views and wildflowers in late summer.

One of the most unique dog friendly activities in Jackson Hole is taking your pup on the Snow King Mountain Scenic Gondola.
Dogs are welcome to ride, and the short trip to the top offers unbeatable views of Jackson, the surrounding mountains, and the valley below! It’s the perfect way to enjoy the scenery without the uphill hike.
Hands down, one of our favorite dog friendly things to do in Jackson Hole was taking a scenic float with Black Dog Raft Company. They’re the only rafting company in the area that welcomes dogs, which immediately put them at the top of our list—but what really won us over was how much our dog loved it.
The float was so peaceful, with the Tetons as our backdrop and bald eagles soaring overhead. This was the perfect way to soak in Jackson Hole’s beauty without rushing!
Judge Roy Bean’s Old Time Photos was such a fun surprise during our time in Jackson Hole. We got to dress up in full western gear—dog included!
They even have a collection of dog-friendly old western outfits and cowboy hats to choose from! And don’t worry, the photographer was amazing with our dog, making sure he posed like a true cowboy. This ended up being our absolute favorite souvenir from the whole trip!
This might as well be a dog park with the amount of cute dogs we saw here! Emily Stevens Park offers peaceful trails along the Snake River with stunning mountain views.
It’s an easy, flat walk that’s perfect for a relaxed outing. And we really liked that there was plenty of shade and spots to sit and enjoy the scenery!
Rendezvous Park—known locally as R Park—is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon with your dog. Stroll along the walking paths, enjoy the open green spaces, and don’t forget to find the famous wooden troll sculpture hiding among the trees. It makes for the best little photo stop!
Downtown Jackson is full of shops, galleries, and patios that welcome dogs. Grab a coffee from a dog-friendly café, browse local boutiques, and soak in the mountain-town charm with your dog by your side.
