From colorful fishing towns and cliffside hikes to WHALES swimming under our boat (!!), Newfoundland totally stole our hearts!!!

We spent a FULL WEEK exploring—and it was straight-up magic. Some highlights:

🐧 Puffins, puffins and MORE puffins!!!
✨ Whale watching during peak migration season
🥾 Coastal hikes with the most insane views
📸 Lighthouses that feels like they’re on edge of the world
💙 Oh, and Airbnbs perched right on the ocean. Unreal!!!

📸 Stop by Prime Berth Fishery & Heritage Centre to see a real whale skeleton

🛍️ Browse local shops for handmade and one-of-a-kind finds

This town is small but so full of charm, think Ireland vibes, but in Canada 🇨🇦

ADD THIS NEW ZEALAND HIDDEN GEM TO YOUR ITINERARY: 📍Tunnel Beach

We drove from Milford Sound on the west side of the South Island all the way to Tunnel Beach on the east side on the SAME DAY and IT👏🏻WAS👏🏻WORTH👏🏻IT!!!

This beach has the COOLEST secret tunnel that leads you down to the most stunning beach! And let’s just say this place is giving just the cutest little Cliffs of Moher vibes

🚨Important update: the Tunnel Beach Walk is currently closed due to large slips on the trail, but it’s expected to reopen by mid-2025!

⚠️ When it does, here’s what to know:

🚗 Drive to the parking lot at the trailhead.
🌊 Plan your visit around low tide if you want to walk through the tunnel to the beach—it’s a must!
👟Wear shoes with good traction, the trail is easy on the way down but on the way back it’s a steep uphill climb

Add this spot to your New Zealand travel list, because it’s so worth it! ✨
