Sweden’s Icehotel isn’t just the oldest, it’s also one of our most unforgettable stays!

Every room is uniquely designed by artists from around the world and carved entirely from snow and ice ☃️

Actually sleeping in an ice room was a one of a kind experience! Those Arctic sleeping bags feel surprisingly snug and not in a cozy way 😅

Would I personally book another night? Probably not

Would I tell you to try it at least once? 1000% yes!!!

PRO TIPS:
🔋 No outlets in the ice rooms—bring a portable charger or leave your phone charging in the warm storage building.
🚿 Take a warm shower an hour or two before bed to help your body adjust
🧤 Wear only the essentials inside the sleeping bag: thermals + wool socks are your best combo

This was our second trip to Tallinn, but our first time experiencing the Tallinn Christmas Market, and I didn’t think I could love this city more… until now 🥹

We’ve been traveling to Europe’s Christmas markets since 2017, and the Tallinn Christmas Markets quickly became some of our absolute favorites 🎄

They’re honestly one of the most underrated Christmas markets in Europe 🤫

The best part? Tallinn is far less crowded than many of the popular Christmas destinations around Europe, which means more room to explore, shop local stalls, and take in the charm of the Old Town without feeling rushed ✨
